Sedation for Pediatric Patients

However, general anesthesia given by an anesthesiologist may be necessary for more time-consuming procedures or oral surgery. During general anesthesia, your child will not be awake or aware that treatment is taking place.
Endodontic Treatment for Pediatric Patients
Root canals can be necessary if a child’s tooth is severely damaged or decayed. Most often, endodontic treatment is only recommended on permanent teeth. During treatment, the dentist removes the affected pulp that reaches into the deep internal structures of the tooth, fills it with filler material, and then seals the tooth.
